LORE (Lancashire Online Record Entry system) is an online species recording platform that serves Biological Heritage Sites (BHS) in Lancashire. It will integrate with the Biological Records Centre's iRecord recording system via Indica, making species observation data immediately available for national use and accessible to county recorders.
It will also provide the facility to local expert verifiers and other specialists to verify observations. initially via this site with the possibility of expanding to allow verification via iRecord in the future, reducing the burden on taxon specialists.
